After a two-week hiatus, “Saturday Night Live” returned with a new episode Dec. 6 with host Melissa McCarthy and musical guest Dijon, marking McCarthy’s sixth time hosting, her first since 2017, and Dijon’s “SNL” debut.
There won’t be a new episode of “SNL” on Saturday, Nov. 29. Instead, NBC will re-air the season 51 episode hosted by Amy Poehler with musical guest Role Model. The episode originally aired on Oct. 11.
